A White Guy's Open Letter to Clinton and Ferarro

Thu Mar 13, 2008 at 06:26:56 AM PDT

OK, I've head enough.

Mondale was boring, albeit a better candidate then Reagan, and I voted for Mondale-Ferarro because they weren't Reagan-Bush.  We could have done better, but there it is: reality.

But this latest thing with race?

Disgusting.

Despite there being an alleged "11th commandment" of Repugnants speaking ill about each other they HAVE been known to go into the gutter against each other now and again (it might do 'em some good to acknowledge their horrors and corruption more often!)

The most notable case came in 1980, as I recall: the Alphonse D'Amato versus Jacob Javitz NY Repugnant primary.  Javitz was old and had to get about in a wheelchair, but D'Amato, ever the class act that he was, implied he was feeble in mind as well.

This is what Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferarro have done.  They've freakin' channeled Al D'Amato: they have taken one aspect of who Barack Obama his (his ancestry) and morphed it into a false characterization of a liability (he's the "affirmative action" candidate).

Moreover they've done this because the only reason Hillary Clinton got her job is people feel sympathy for the fact that her husband was nothin' but a hound dog.

Now that's not completely fair to be sure, but it is certain that Repugnant propagandists are already breathing new life into this nonsense.  Check out, if you have the stomach, Joseph Farah's Worldnut Daily column on the subject.  The idea that Obama's only there because of his race is utter nonsense, especially coming from Farah.  After all, Obama did beat hyper-wingnut homophobe lunatic Alan Keyes, did he not? And wasn't Alan Keyes African American?

Oh, wait.  I forgot.  Alan Keyes really did get his position on the Repug Senate ticket because he was African American.

I DON'T like seeing this type of behavior resuscitated. It reminds me of the corruption of the D'Aamato years.  Come to think of it it reminds me of John Zacarro's renting out real estate to pornographers, and a certain VP whose candidate whose son was a cokehead. But I shouldn't hold that against anyone, should I?
